Migrating CPD records to Dacreed
If you are starting to use Dacreed for the first time and want to import your historical records, you can re-enter historical CPD on a line-by-line basis. However, for simplicity, we recommend that you download a copy of your CPD and upload it as a single summary record.
For example, if your CPD record from last year had 30 entries totalling 50 hours of CPD, you would:
Download the CPD record as a single document.
Create a new CPD entry in Dacreed
In the CPD entry put a training title indicating that this is a Summary record, such as "Summary of CPD for 2025", put the provider as "Various", and put in the total hours of 50.
Upload a copy of the document with the detailed CPD records against the entry.
This will provide you with the historical records that are required, while removing the need to make a significant number of new entries.
Going forward, you can now focus on your current professional development plan and provide detailed entries for each new CPD entry.
