CPD hours can be added to a course to be earned as reward for completion. To add CPD hours to a course, you must first ensure that you have the CPD Feature enabled (read more about this under Overview). Once this feature is enabled, you will have access to the CPD hours setting on each course.

To set CPD hours for a course, first navigate to Courses > Manage and find the course you wish to add CPD Hours to. If you need to create a course, do this now. (Read more about creating courses under Creating and Managing Courses.)

Once you've found the course, open it's settings by clicking on the cog at the end of the row.

Once in the course settings, click on 'CPD hours' and click on the toggle to enable CPD points on this course.

You can then input the number of hours that a user should receive for completing that course. As a general rule, one point should be roughly equivalent to one CPD hour. Once you're happy, click 'save' to lock in the reward.

Any CPD Registered member who completes the course will then receive the allocated CPD points as a reward. Remember the course must be activated and assigned to be allocated to members. Read more about this under Course Scheduling and Distribution, Creating and Managing Courses, and Assigning Courses to Teams.

Note: The member must be registered for CPD to receive the reward. Read more about this under Adding CPD Members.
